2024 Palatine Pack Pack TFCC

Spring Youth Track

For the first time, Palatine Pack is pleased to offer a spring track session for athletes that are in 3rd-6th grade and not part of a middle school track team. This session will focus on the fundamentals of speed, agility and endurance of track and field and is great for athletes of any skill level. Athletes will learn the the basics of long jump, use mini hurdles to work on sprint mechanics, and be introduced to speed interval training. Coaches will also use gameplay to keep athletes engaged throughout the session.

This session will not have any track and field meets and will only focus on the fundamentals of track. If any meets become available during our time, we will notify parents and they may choose to participate at their own cost.

Our Mission

We offer cross country training and racing for any 5th-8th grader. While we are a club by definition, we do not operate as a traditional club. We welcome kids of all abilities in hopes of fostering a love for running. Our goals are to build community, teach the fundamentals of the sport, compete to each runner’s fullest potential, and have fun while doing it. Every member of our club gets an equal opportunity to improve and compete.

Our training is tailored to the needs of the individual. We teach basic fitness activities and the fundamentals of cross country to our newest runners while also providing elite training programs for our more fit and experienced runners. All athletes will be challenged to get better each day while focusing on having fun through gameplay and teamwork.
